Sunday: Boho Style

On a stinking hot day last week I dropped into my local haunt for all things boho style, Avalon Island, and grabbed this gorgeous summer dress. I shop online a lot these days (and create e-commerce websites as part of my work) but there’s nothing quite like popping into a shop and having a chat, finding that perfect item, trying it on and then taking it straight home.

This dress is so cute… except for when it catches the wind and you flash your ass at unsuspecting bystanders (*queue screams), I love it’s tassels, front pockets and light flowing boho feels. Paired with my tie-up Wittner Fraya espadrilles (now on sale!), Roc Eyewear sunnies and hat, Charlie Middleton Leather Tote, and my new Marc Bale rose gold watch worn with the peach leather wristband which is currently offered as a free gift when you purchase the watch (and don’t miss the Marc Bale Australia Day Sale – 30% off!).

We did this shoot while lunching in Wollongong. If you haven’t visited Wollongong, you should… it’s really come alive in the past few years with more and more amazing cafes, restaurants, bars and stores popping up – not to mention our amazing beaches. We had a yummy lunch at Mudcat (try the thai beef salad – so good) but a few of my other favs for breaky/brunch/lunch include Lee & MeDiggiesThree Chimneys and Harbour Front. There are loads more that I love, and ones I intend to try so I’ll share more another time. Enjoy your Australia Day! xx

LOVE this look on you Nicky!! You have pulled the boho-chic look off to a tee! How gorgeous is that dress?! Those espadrilles are fabulous too, I’ve been wanting a strappy pair like that for ages! Xx
