After a month abroad it’s taken me a couple of weeks to get use to the cooler weather again here in Sydney. It hasn’t been cold but I’ve definitely had to put the shorts & swimsuits on standby. Transeasonal dressing is where it’s at, at least until the sun starts to roar for high Summer. So, I’ve taken advantage of this time to resume my search for the perfect velvet pants… and I found them.
I’ve been on the look out for velvet pants for a while now, and finally found the pair of my dreams from Hale Bob. The comfort of these luxuriously lightweight pants is actually next level, while the drape and cut tick all of the boxes for a classic pant that will stay in my wardrobe for years, potentially forever. What I didn’t expect to find was this ahhmazing matching bomber jacket. It’s next level comfy and I’ve been throwing it on over everything – even jeans and heels, so cute!
Recently I’ve been much more conscious about filling my wardrobe with investment pieces, and items that can be easily mixed and matched, or dressed up and down. I’ve worn them here two ways, to show off their versatility – styled first with a cute tee & cons, and secondly with heels and a bit of bling for a recent date night & cocktail event with hubs. To quote my fav Ryan Gosling film… these pants are the perfect combination of sexy and cute.
