I’ve driven past the turn off 100 times but on Saturday of last long weekend me and hubs decided to flick on that blinker and take a drive down Slaughterhouse Road. Admittedly that sounds like a line out of one of my old Goosbumbs books (LOL) but it’s actually a legit street and leads to Cupitt’s Winery on the South Coast, just South of Milton. What a beautiful spot!
We ordered a cheese board, I had a wine and hubs had one of their boutique Cupitt’s brewed beers while we sat looking over the rolling hills in the amazing afternoon sun… PERFECT. Were were also informed that they have live music every Sunday along with wood fired pizzas. And, I’ve also since been told that the scones alone are worth driving 2 hours for (kicking myself we didn’t try those but chances are we’ll be back!).
Also new to my list of favourite things is a label I’ve recently been introduced to – Nikki Williams.
Nikki Williams is a new luxury handbag label designed in Sydney by Nikki Williams and crafted in New York and Asia… and by ‘new’ I mean the label was launched only late last year. I love supporting local talent and learning their story – Nikki was raised on a farm in a small town in NSW and after finishing a degree in Economics she moved to London to study fashion and pursue a career in the industry. She says “many things inspire me, but my memories of growing up on a farm riding horses are what inspire me most…as a child growing-up on the farm I used to tan my own leather. I always loved the braided leather of the saddles and bridles, I am just re-creating my own ‘designer’ version.”
This is the Caviette fold over clutch in Hampton grey nappa leather, and it’s also on sale for Mother’s Day so don’t miss it! I featured Nikki Williams in my Mother’s Day Gift Guide and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the label again here.
Also part of this #OOTD is this Sportsgirl knit which will be on very high rotation this A/W, new Shilla leather look pants and CottonOn denim shacked.
A word from Nikki Williams:
We have a simple set of values: Make beautiful handbags. Treat people well. And tell you all the story of the leather goods we make. We are only at the very beginning and have a long road ahead, but what matters most is that we design bags you love and we stick to our values. So here’s to an adventure. We’d love you to be a part of it.
Hope you’ve enjoyed this new-label feature and I encourage you to support Nikki by visiting her website and following the label’s journey on facebook & instagram.
