Finally, it’s time to feature double denim style.
A few weeks back I was invited to a CottonOn Styling Event for the new 91 Denim range in Sydney. Not surprisingly my denim obsession went into overdrive; 14 Styles of jeans & 72 washes and colours…
Jeansus, I’m in heaven.
After an introduction to the new range by the CottonOn design team, and styling tips from the gorgeous Kara Wilson of @sydneystyleedit, we hit the racks and it wasn’t long before the denim mountain started to stack up in my change room.
Needless to say I left with a bounty of blue, with new jeans in various colours, shirts, shackets and jackets.
And so it was, Nicky lived happily ever after with a new wardrobe full of denim… until Sydney copped record breaking February heat waves and ruined the happily ever after.
I intended to step out in ‘double denim style’ weeks ago, but as it turned out even single denim was a stretch. But here it is, it finally dropped to an acceptable temp, and stars aligned for me to get this post live just in time to welcome Autumn.
So, this is how you do head to toe ankle CottonOn! I guess you could say I have cotton-on-me-everywhere. HA!
For this outfit I’ve worn my new skinny 7/8 high rise jeans, basic white cotton shirt, and denim shacket (all CottonOn), dressed down with cons for casual sunday coffee sessions and featuring tan belt. I allllways end up throwing in the belt because I’m afraid of looking like a well dressed potato if I don’t bring in the waistline! Super casual, super comfy, super in-love. It’s no double that double denim will be seen regularly in various combos over the coming months.
Happy Autumn peeps! xx
