Winter is all about hibernation, right?
Hot chocolates, early nights, coats, boots, weekends away spent by fireplaces in cozy locations with espresso martinis & Kahlua on the rocks…
It all sounds great but pasty white skin, goosebumps, freezing mornings and unwelcome alarms mean that my heart will always belong to summer.
On the up side, the first day of June signals a downhill run toward Winter solstice and from there on out, as far as I’m concerned, Summer is on its way.
Until then, I’ll attempt to resist rich slow cooked dinners, decadent deserts and substitute hitting snooze with hitting the gym instead…
