Streetstyle in Surry Hills

streetstyle surry hills

Over the weekend hubs & I decided we needed a break from our little hot-box of a house and decided a Sydney stay-cay was in order. With one day to organise it I jumped onto The Urban List and started making breakfast, lunch and dinner plans – as you do. We travelled into the city for a night at Rydges Surry Hills and had a very quiet weekend enjoying good food & aircon.

Surry Hills is one of my favourite places in Sydney; ridiculously central to everything and with some of the best eats (and streets) in the city. We drove straight into the Ridges car park and didn’t touch the car, a taxi, or uber all weekend… we just wandered around, and it was great. Lunch was Chur Burger, which is conveniently located immediately across the road, dinner was DELISH at Bang (Bangladehi Street Food Restaurant), and while we did quite an extended walk for breakfast (ambitiously thinking that we could just rock into Devon without a booking) we did a full loop and after passing cafe after cafe with line-ups for brunch we ended up back up the street from Ridges at White Taro… it was packed too, but gratefully we snagged a table and with salted caramel bacon waffles it’s safe to say there was a happy ending to our breakfast tale!

Given all the walking, it’s lucky I was in sneakers…. like them? They’re Kmart sneakers. Yep… Kmart.
I freakin’ love Kmart.

As for the rest of the #ootd, I picked up this All About Eve Tee the other day and am IN LOVE with it’s high neck. The skirt is One Teaspoon, one of my all time favorite brands and I’m glad to share that this skirt is over a year old, this label just doesn’t age (and this style is still available in various washes – find it here). My other accessories include the cute head band from Sportsgirl (similar here), Witchery gold arrow earrings, and my old faithful The Horse watch & Charlie Middleton Tote which feature in every second outfit post lol.

So there it is, streetstyle & Sunday wandering in Surry Hills… a weekend well spent brings a week of content.

Have a good one guys x
