Recently I visited Auckland for the first time for Fashion Week New Zealand 2016, and discovered a whole lot of new stuff I love; the city (but not the weather lol), the people, the food, and definitely the labels.
If you saw my NZFW recap you would have seen a whole bunch of amazing NZ designers that I’ve fallen for, including Black Eye Peach (B.E.P).
Hands down my fav look from the week was this one, featuring The Devil In Me Bomber from B.E.P.
The Bomber Jacket has been trending massively over AW16, and this stunner from B.E.P serves to reinforce the fact that statement coats/jackets are a necessity in any wardrobe. This pop of red absolutely MADE the outfit. I kept the rest simple with all black everything, and let the bomber do the talking.
Thanks to @whiteandcapsule for snapping these shots. We had a great week with our crew and spent time hanging out at some awesome cafes/bars. I definitely recommend The Store in Britomart for amazing food, coffee & atmosphere, The Britomart Country Club for a chilled out arvo session (which fyi, can quite easily become a night of many wines & dancing) and Federal Delicatessen which serves up the most delish brewed coffee & is right under the Auckland Sky Tower. There’s also a bunch of restaurants/bars at Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour, which I was eyeing off from the Fashion Week Hub, so I’ll be looking forward to hitting them up next time!
I can’t wait to get back to NZ, there’s loads more to do & see there… including wine, and more wine. Seriously though, how good is NZ wine! *goes through duty free with maximum bottle allowance.
